A few years ago we got a small colony of mice in our basement. I’m a total softy and had to catch and release all of them. Each morning, I would go grab the humane traps from the basement and drive my little mouse friends to the park and set them free. They were always so cute and ever since then I’ve wanted to add mice in my art.

Painted with professional grade acrylic paints from Golden, Windsor and Newton and Liquitex.

Finished with 3 coats of Liquitex Professionals Satin Varnish.
