What’s on my Easel 3 - Collaboration with Frame USA

Hello everyone! I’m very happy to be able to share something completely different with you all today. A few weeks ago, I was given the opportunity to do a collaborative project with Frame USA. I buy a lot of frames for my art from them and I’m always happy with the quality, shipping speed and packaging. They offered one of their Decorate-It Picture Frames to embellish in any way I like and, in return, they will be able use my project photos for marketing. Frame USA is also going to give my little business here a shout out on their socials for Small Business Saturday, so it’s a win-win.

I present to you my lovely winter holiday Sasquatch art in a custom embellished and hand painted frame. On the surface this piece is just cute word play but to me, it is more than that. If you have been on my Artist Updates List for a bit, you may remember that I’ve mentioned that I have been struggling with just having hope lately. I’ve felt that the world is such a mess right now and I don’t see a way out.

In my head, this piece represents hope and a faith that there is still some good out there in the world, we just need to believe that and hang on until we can see it again. The nights are dark, but if we wait and keep the faith, morning will eventually arrive and we will see the sun again.

I know, that’s a lot of drama for a silly painting of hairy humanoid with a great butt. I guess I just have odd coping mechanisms?

Anyway, if you are interested, I have it listed in my shop HERE.

Short and Sweet Project Photo Montage

For those who are interested, here is a little photo gallery showing the basics of the process to make a simple embellished gold frame.

Really appreciate you stopping by. Hope you are doing well and have a wonderful Thanksgiving. As usual, I would love to hear from you with any thoughts or questions. Comment below or email me and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks,

Brittany

P. S.

Is anyone interested in “how to” posts? I didn’t want to go into too much detail on this one unless anyone was curious about the specifics. Post in the comments or email me and let me know if this type of information is useful or interesting to you. It should only take a minute.
