This is probably my favorite piece I have ever painted. For me, this piece represents how I feel when I know there is a difficult time ahead, it is the last bit of calm before the storm. I try to appreciate the last moments of serenity before the chaos. In the same way, I find peace in the chill autumn air, the whisper of the breeze in the drying leaves and the lovely last temperate evenings of autumn before the difficult cold and dark of winter sets in.
This witch painting was created with professional grade acrylic paints from Golden, Windsor and Newton and Liquitex.
Finished with 3 coats of Liquitex Professionals Satin Varnish.
Acrylic on stretched cotton canvas.
Black solid wood frame.
